At this event, Richard Deakin will discuss the inspiration for his novel The Wicked Lord Byron, which presents the life story of the poet as he relives it in his final hours, from the point of view of both the laughing dandy and the tragic romantic. Robin, Lord Byron, who wrote the Foreword to the novel, will introduce the event, and Richard Deakin will give some readings from his book and describe how it evolved.
